Iris was the
daughter of the okeanids
Thaumantas
and Elektra. She
personified the Rainbow and was a messenger of
the gods. She is a symbol of the connection
of the sky and the earth. She has wings and a veil and, like Hermes
although not so famous, she
delivers the messages of the gods.
